About
My research evolves around the interactions between cognitive, affective, and motor processes. Particularly, I am investigating different ways in which fluency experiences can be triggered by the motor system, such that smooth and effortless interactions produce a feeling of fluency and positive affect. Furthermore, I’m interested in the functional value of processing fluency by assessing its role in self-control. Finally, I’m exploring the impact of psychological states on embodiment variables: Can a psychological state as feeling powerful influence the way we physically perceive ourselves and our environment, i.e., does it make us feel tall?
