About
Srdjan Sremac is a PhD candidate at the Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam. He holds BA degree in Theology and a Masters degree (MPhil) in Religious Studies. He published more then 25 articles in local and international journals. He has also authored and edited several books such as The Phenomenology of Conversion (2007), Conversion and Context (2009), Religious Imagination and Contemporary Media (2010), Dangerous Memories and Reconciliation: A Contextual Exploration of Religion in the Post-Conflict Society (2012), Addiction, Religion and Identity (2012) and Religion and Identity in Europe: Discourses on National, European and Religious (forthcoming 2013). He is the co-founder of the Centre for Studies of Religion, Politics and Culture in Novi Sad, Serbia. He currently lives and works in the Netherlands.
